High Performance Gaming on a Budget: Building a Value PC with Cooler Master’s Silent Pro 600 M
The Conclusion
We are very impressed with Cooler Master’s Silent Pro 600 M PSU. It does more than it is advertised to do and we have been testing it under the most severe gaming conditions for well over a month.
The Pros:
- A very good looking conservative and very silent and stable underrated PSU for a great price!
- 85% plus efficiency results in a PSU that can be cooled quietly by a large nearly silent fan even at extreme load.
- Flat cabling allows for better airflow; modular design allows you to use only the cables you need
- Well-built PSU insures stable power past its rating
- 5-year warranty
The Cons:
- Minimal instructions and badly translated English
We feel a big thumbs-up is in order for Cooler Master’s Silent Pro 600 M ! It is well deserving of our “Great value” and “Editor’s Choice” awards.
Many thanks for joining us on our adventure in building a value PC with Cooler Master. We still have the Cooler Master Hyper N212 universal CPU cooler left to review and we will tell you now that it is an awesome budget ($30) cooler that rivals the cooling performance of CPU coolers that cost over double its price. Stay tuned. We will conclude our value series after that review with a performance tweaking and summary and finish up our benchmarking with the latest drivers before we set our new AMD value build against Intel’s new value offering, Core i5.
We are looking forward to continuing this adventure with you and hope it is helpful in choosing your own upgrade path.
