Inno3D shows highly overclocked iChill 9800 GT
Expreview informs that due to TSMC’s issues with yields on its brand new 40nm fabrication process, AMD’s budget wonder HD 4770 is still unavailable in mainland China. Inno3D plans to introduce a highly overclocked 9800 GT to capitalize on the HD 4770’s unavailability. Inno3D’s iChill 9800 GT adopts P391 PCB design which is the same as GTS 250, features 0.8ns memory capable of working at 2500 MHz. The card comes clocked at core/shader speeds of 670/2200MHz. As with all 9800 GT’s, this card features a G92 GPU’s which has 112 shaders and supports CUDA, DirectX 10, SM4.0, PhysX and PureVideo HD. Inno3D employs the cooling capabilities of FreezeX cooler featuring DHT (Direct Heatpipe Touch) technology with 2 heatpipes. The card comes with a 3 year warranty. No word on the pricing yet.
