Intel designs a new heatsink for Core i9
In a show of enthusiast friendliness, Intel is planning on introducing a completely new design for it’s upcoming extreme brand Core i9 CPU featuring 6 cores/12 threads on 32nm design process. Intel has decided to forego it’s archaic push-pin design that it uses on all it’s heatsinks delivered with CPUs. Intel’s new heatsink looks more like a third party heatsink with vertical design and heatpipes emanating from the top of it.
