Intel’s 34nm NAND SSDs launch in two weeks
The latest rumor to come out of the rumor mill is that Intel is preparing to launch Solid State Drives based on 34nm NAND technology in two weeks. Originally planned to be released in Q4, Intel has sped things up and will release the drives within a few weeks if the rumors are correct.
Intel has told the enthusiasts to expect higher capacities, higher performance and most importantly lower costs due to the 34nm NAND chips. These drives are expected to arrive in capacities of 320GB, 160GB and 80GB.
