Introducing Galaxy’s GTS 450 SuperOverclock
Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X.
Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. is an air combat video game developed by Ubisoft Romania and published by Ubisoft for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It was released in United States on March 6, 2009. You have the opportunity to fly 54 aircraft over real world locations and cities in somewhat realistic environments that are created with satellite data. This game is a more of a take on flying than a real simulation and it has received mixed reviews. The game story takes place during the time of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. H.A.W.X. is set in the year 2014 where private military companies have replaced government-run military in many countries. The player is placed into the cockpit as an elite ex-military pilot who is recruited by one of these corporations to work for them as a mercenary. You later return to the US Air Force with a team as you try to prevent a full scale terrorist attack on the United States which was started by your former employer.
H.A.W.X. runs on DX10.1 faster and with more detail than on the DX10 pathway that is used by 8800 GTX. Let’s check out H.A.W.X. at 1440×900 with 2xAA and otherwise completely maxed out in-game details. We also tested our HD 5750 with Catalyst 10b which is supposed to hotfix this game. We did not not notice any significant performance difference in the benchmark using 10-8b over 10-8.
Again, even the GTS 450 with 2xAA edges the HD 5750 with no AA and it speeds by the 8800 GTX which is restricted to the DX10 pathway. Let’s see what testing at 1680×1050 shows.
H.A.W.X. is clearly faster on the GTS 450 and especially scales well with SLI. Let’s move on to 1920×1080 and we will increase the AA setting to 4x.
The GTX 480 is the fastest followed by GTS 450 SLI which in turn edges out HD 5870. So far, we see great bang for buck performance with the GTS 450.
It’s a phenomenal review!! I loved how you compared it with a 5750 and my old 8800GTX, plus how you did 450’s in SLI versus 5870 and GTX 480. And the fully-rounded arsenal of games is icing on the cake!
Awesome review, very cool that you added 8800GTX. I was considering swapping mine out for the 450 originally.

However, either PSU is probably sufficient if they are of reasonable quality and not defective. The card’s fan speed is variable, depending on the temperatures. Use Galaxy’s Xtreme HD Tuner or EVGA precision tool to monitor temperatures.
Happy to find out until this website successful in my iPhone , anything I would like to perform is actually functional. Thanks for keeping up to date with the most up-to-date.
