Introducing Galaxy’s GTS 450 SuperOverclock
Mafia II
Mafia II is a third-person action-adventure video game which is the sequel to Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. It is developed by 2K Czech and is published by 2K Games and was released last month. Mafia II is set from 1943 to 1951 in Empire Bay which is a fictional city based mostly on San Francisco and New York City along with some influences from Chicago and also Detroit.
Mafia II is a gritty drama which chronicles the rise of World War II veteran Vito Scaletta who joins the Falcone Crime Family and become a ‘made’ man. There are 15 chapters in the game and over two hours of game engine generated cutscenes.
Mafia II makes extensive use of Nvidia’s PhysX whose full effects are seen smoothly only by playing on a PhysX-enabled GeForce. ABT has just got a copy of Mafia II and you can expect a review of this game by at least two Senior Editors, including a performance review. For this article, we used the Mafia II demo’s built-in benchmark with the following settings for 1440×900 and 1680×1050 and this time we will reserve comment until after all three charts.
We begin at 1440×900 resolution.
At the lower resolutions and with no AA, all of our video cards will give a satisfactory playing experience despite the demo benchmark’s suggestion that the framerates drop too low. However, enabling AA and PhysX together will bring a GTX 480 to its knees. If you want to run Mafia II with AA and even medium PhysX settings at 1920×1080, consider getting a dedicated PhysX card.
It’s a phenomenal review!! I loved how you compared it with a 5750 and my old 8800GTX, plus how you did 450’s in SLI versus 5870 and GTX 480. And the fully-rounded arsenal of games is icing on the cake!
Awesome review, very cool that you added 8800GTX. I was considering swapping mine out for the 450 originally.

However, either PSU is probably sufficient if they are of reasonable quality and not defective. The card’s fan speed is variable, depending on the temperatures. Use Galaxy’s Xtreme HD Tuner or EVGA precision tool to monitor temperatures.
Happy to find out until this website successful in my iPhone , anything I would like to perform is actually functional. Thanks for keeping up to date with the most up-to-date.
