Need For Speed: Shift – PC Review
Gameplay – Online
The online component of the game is well thought out and really has some nice features. There are standard Quick Race modes that you can choose, either ranked or unranked races, as well as the Driver Duel mode. This mode will be familiar to the fans of Need For Speed: Carbon, where you have to either lead your opponent by 5 seconds or beat him to the line. You have to work your way up to be the top driver; if you slip up, you may even find yourself right back at the bottom where you started.
Since Shift has come out, the Slightly Mad team has now released patches. In the latest patch version 1.02, we see the racer limit being raised from 8 to 12. More people to eat my dust, means more fun! Along with that, there have been a number of other bug fixes applied which smoothes out the few shortcomings of the game.
There is also some new, FREE Downloadable Content (DLC) which includes 4 new vehicles and an interesting new online racing mode called Team Racing. This pits a Blue Team versus a Red Team using stock cars and the teams have to try to outdo each other with nothing but skill and teamwork.
Though i can’t play the game well I like your point. The thrill is nothing without the someone chasing you like the police, but the graphics is hot especially with the many crashes I’ve endured. Still speedy in my book and Nice easy to read and understand review for a novice like me!!!!!!
