NVIDIA Corp. announced today the availability of its entire new line of Quadro(R) professional graphics solutions for mobile workstations.
Based on the NVIDIA(R) CUDA(TM) parallel computing architecture, these mobile graphics processing units (GPUs) are available to dramatically and effectively accelerate graphics performance in all of the new generation of Intel Core i7-based mobile workstations from Dell, Fujitsu Technology Solutions, HP, and Lenovo, so professionals don’t have to sacrifice exceptional graphics performance for the flexibility of a mobile platform. From entry-level to high-end, starting with HP’s new, 14.1-inch small form factor, and going up to Dell’s new 17-inch powerhouse, NVIDIA is the only company to have its high-performance mobile graphics solutions included in all of these next-generation mobile workstations.
Certified for the most demanding CAD, DCC and visualization professional applications, the new NVIDIA Quadro FX mobile graphics solution lineup provides a power-efficient, rich experience for manufacturing, design, and video production users on the go and in the field, and is optimized for and supports professional applications using OpenGL, Shader Model, Microsoft DirectX, DirectCompute, and OpenCL standards. All of these new solutions provide large, dedicated graphics frame buffers (up to 1GB), and superb color fidelity with 30-bit color accuracy delivering over 1 billion colors. These features enable precise, sharp images and designs, and support intensive, interactive visualization of complex assemblies or scenes.
NVIDIA CUDA parallel computing architecture, which combines high-performance graphics and high-performance computation, enables breakthrough performance in areas such as video encoding, image processing, and ray tracing.
