NVIDIA shows off GTX 480
NVIDIA’s Director of Technical Marketing,Tom Petersen describes how the performance of GeForce GTX 480 compares to existing DX11 solutions. He highlights the different aspects of the benchmark and graphs where the new GeForce excels in tessellation versus AMD’s HD 5870. The second part of the video shows off NVIDIA’s Surround which is their brand new SLI-powered three monitor 3D solution for extraordinarily immersive gaming.
NVIDIA is finally releasing its long-awaited DX11 Fermi architecture as GeForce GTX 480 and GTX 470 at PAX East in Boston this March 26. We expect to give you GF100 performance numbers and impressions of NVIDIA’s new video cards when the NDA is over. Stay tuned.
