OCZ Makes Vertex Turbo SSD’s Official
Few weeks ago we posted that OCZ was readying a new lineup of SSD’s called Vertex Turbo which would offer 10% performance advantage over the Vertex lineup. It was not clear at that moment where this increase in performance came from. OCZ has now officially launched the drives and revealed the reason behind the performance increase. The host-clock speed has been increased from 166 MHz to 180 MHz which leads to the performance increase.
