Patriot announces DDR3-2000 Viper series triple channel kit

Patriot Memory has announced a new, high-end Viper series DDR3 memory kit. Codenamed PVT36G2000LK, this 6GB kit consists of three modules with Viper Heat Shields with integrated ACC (Aluminum Copper Composite) technology that can reach 2000MHz with 8-8-8-24 latencies while running at a voltage of 1.65V.

"At these speeds, your system is just missing wings to fly," says Saeed Arash Far, Patriot’s Technical Engineering Manager. "If you are a gaming enthusiast, the 2000 MHz Viper will be a perfect compliment to your Intel Core™ i7."

The new DDR3-2000 triple channel kit is also XMP certified, RoHS compliant and is backed by a lifetime warranty. No word on price yet.
