[Update] XCOM: Enemy Within launches on Steam November 15th
Redditor Tetrakis noticed an interesting ad for XCOM: Enemy Unknown DLC, called XCOM: Enemy Within. It looks like the ad is located on the back of his manual for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. Enemy Within had been rumored for some time but no one knew whether it was a standalone game or just DLC. “Bellator in Machina” in Latin means “Warrior in the Machine”. The ad also says:
The expansion pack for the 2012 game of the year strategy game.
According to Evilgamerz, Enemy Within will appear for PC on November 15th. The expansion will add new storylines, add new maps, and will add a new Mech Trooper Class. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet by 2K or Firaxis but they have said to expect a reveal tomorrow the 21st, presumably at Gamescom.
8/22/2013 update: XCOM: Enemy Within will be available November 12th for North America and November 15th internationally for PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PS3. Bringing current and new content to all platforms. On Xbox 360 and PS3, XCOM: Enemy Within will be a standalone game. It will be available for PC and Mac for $29.99 and $39.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3.
