- 2×2 GB DDR3 PC 5300 Kingston notebook RAM (supplied by Kingston)
- Kingston 128GB SSDNow V100 Solid-state drive (supplied by Kingston)
- 250GB Toshiba hard disk drive, 5400 rpm OEM notebook drive – both drives are cloned images of each other
- GeForce GT 8200 M, 256MB
- Onboard Conexant Audio
Test Configuration – Software
- NVIDIA GeForce WHQL 275.33 for notebooks; Quality
- Windows Vista 32-bit; very latest updates
- DirectX July/November 2010
- All games are patched to their latest versions.
- vsync is forced off in the control panel.
- All results show average frame rates except as noted.
- Highest quality sound (stereo) used in all games.
- Windows Vista 32 Upgrade and Windows Vista 32 HP Compaq OEM edition; both game titles were run under DX9 and DX10 render paths
