Usain Bolt Crash
My fellow Jamaican, the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, was today involved in a car accident in one of the world’s fastest cars. The 2009 BMW Coupe that he was driving, crashed off Highway 2000 and overturned. The trio were reportedly on their way from Old Harbour in St. Catherine to Kingston.
Bolt and the two female passengers in the car escaped serious injury and death. Bolt was treated at the Spanish Town Hospital (in my home town) and released with minor cuts and bruises (reportedly on his toes). One of the other passengers is being treated for minor head injuries.
Police reports say that the wet road conditions combined with speeding may have been what caused the crash. The 2009 BMW Coupe was a gift from his sponsor Puma, which he received after his stunning world record performances at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

oh man, that is sad.
Yes it is, but the good news is that he is okay as well as the others passengers.
I watched the news and he was rather jovial and upbeat when leaving the hospital after treatment.
