Verizon store in NYC will open at midnight for Verizon DROID launch

Verizon has spent a load of cash on the advertisement campaign for the Motorola DROID launch. The upcoming Android 2.0 powered handset is supposed to be in great demand once it launches this Friday. The demand is expected to be so great that some Verzion stores are going to open early at 7am or 8am. But if you live near the 34th street Verizon Wireless store in Manhattan, you will be able to get your hands on the DROID as soon as the clock strikes midnight.
