Beat Ultimate Quest First to Win Nvidia’s Latest Release
The old meets the new in Ultimate Quest. Some of the first PC games were text adventures. Today, a brand new tweet-based text adventure begins, called “Ultimate Quest.” It’s a five-day saga to challenge players to search for a power to change the world. Ultimate Quest is an adventure that is designed to challenge the most skilled gamers. Best of all, the first player to beat it will win, sight unseen, Nvidia’s brand new product the moment it’s made available to the public.
Ultimate Quest is an interactive text adventure written by internationally renowned interactive fiction author Emily Short. Gameplay takes place in an online environment that features illustrations by Silvio Aebischer. His credits include, Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee and Iron Man 2. The game sends players on a winding trek through a dystopian world full of intrigue and conflict. The challenges are surprising and the images are beautifully-crafted, supporting this unique adventure into rethinking the world of social gameplay.
A new episode in “Ultimate Quest” will start on each day beginning today, from July 18-July 22. New segments of the story reveal new ways to interact with the game, including on social media. Solving a variety of unusual and perplexing problems moves the story forward. You need to participate every day in order to win.

The entire game exists in an isolated environment and every response is 140 characters or less. There are some sections of the game where you are required to Tweet to solve problems. You can even rename objects and characters, which makes this game even more interactive.
“Ultimate Quest” kicks off on today, Friday, July 18 with Episode One and continues through Tuesday, July 22. You can only beat the game on the fifth and final day. That’s also when NVIDIA will make a major announcement.
