Windows 7 brings special features for Microsoft Hardware
Everybody is keenly awaiting Windows 7 release. The Beta and Release Candidate have been received with warm reception. Day by day we new features are getting revealed. Here is another interesting feature that Windows 7 brings with it this October. Windows 7 will be taking special care of Microsoft’s own hardware. Microsoft plans to release special software that allows the current line-up of Microsoft Hardware products (mice, keyboards, LifeCams, gaming devices and notebook accessories) to take advantage of new features being introduced with Windows 7 such as the new Windows Taskbar and Device Stage.
With a new software called Taskbar favorites, a user would be able to map the applications pinned on the Windows taskbar to the “My Favorites” hot keys on Microsoft Keyboards.
On opening the Device and Printers folder in Windows 7, you will notice that Microsoft hardware has the actual images of the product in this view rather than icons.
