Windows Vista Service Pack 2 Release Candidate

The release candidate for Windows Vista Service Pack 2 is now available to the masses. This release candidate takes into account both Windows Vista SP2 and also Windows 2008 SP2. Please note that when installed, you will still see it as a Beta version but rest assured that it is in fact the full Release Candidate.

There are quite a few changes; or improvements if you will. The most notable ones are listed here on Microsoft’s TechNet page. Most of the updates are available via individual downloads but having a single installer that does everything is a lot more convenient for the end users.

There has been no date set for a final release, however, it is slated to be before the end of June 2009. You can be sure we will be following this one so stay tuned.
