WOW Guild Leader wins Oscar

World of Warcraft can add one more big name to its list of million of users. Steeve Preeg has worked on the digital effects team of some of our favorite films, including the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I, Robot, and Richie Rich’s Christmas Wish. At the  81st Annual Academy Awards, he won Oscar in the Visual Effects category for their computer-assisted oldening of Brad Pitt in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, beating out contenders like The Dark Knight and Iron Man.

This must be his greatest achievement and congrats to him. But he has one more achievement to go. In WOW he plays a Combat Rogue with 450 Enchanting and Inscription, and runs a progression guild that’s downed everything but one of of the title’s most demanding raid bosses Sartharion.
