XFX Releases HD4870x2
The latest shining star to AMD/ATI’s portfolio, XFX, has released the card thats been missing from its inventory and the one everyone wants until now.
HD4870x2 consists of 2 HD4870 GPU’s on the same PCB offering 2.4 teraFLOPS of graphics horsepower, 1600 stream processors and 2 GB of GDDR5 memory. This card was the recent king of the hill until the GTX295 from Nvidia recently toppled it. But this card can still hold its own at ultra-high end gaming resolution i.e 2500×1600 due to a larger framebuffer i.e 1GB mirrored as compared to 896MB mirrored on the GTX 295.
