AVG Anti-Virus 8.5 Free Edition

AVG Technologies, formerly known as Grisoft, has released version 8.5 of their free anti-virus software. This new version can be downloaded here as it not available via the updater.

It is recommended that version 8.0 users uninstall their current version completely before installing version 8.5 on their computers.

There have been several changes, fixes and improvements made to the software, however, the graphical user interface remains the same.
