Dirt 2 System Requirements Unveiled
We have reports now flooding our newsroom regarding the system requirements for the PC version of Dirt 2. This highly anticipated racing sequel will get gamers down and dirty as of December 1, 2009 when it is slated for release.
Optimized for DirectX11, it is no secret that the only recommended GPUs (at this time) would be from the ATI Radeon HD 5000 Series. They are currently the only cards that support DX11. Below are the minimum and recommended system specifications.
Minimum
- OS: Microsoft Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7
- Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz, AMD Athlon 64 3400+
- Memory: 1GB (2GB for Windows Vista)
- HD Space: 10GB
- Video Card: ATI Radeon X1500, NVIDIA GeForce 6800
Recommended (Enhanced for DirectX 11)
- OS: Microsoft Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7
- Processor: Intel Core i7 or AMD Phenom II
- Memory: 3GB
- HD Space: 10GB
- Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series
