EVERCOOL Buffalo and Transformer 4 – Preview
EVERCOOL Transformer 4
The Transformer 4 can be had online for around US $45 or so. This puts it in the price point of mid-range air coolers but its design says something else. The design, first and foremost, boasts a 120mm dual fan push-pull setup which is mainly seen on high-end air coolers. This is to maximize the removal of heat from the aluminum fins, which surround the direct-touch heatpipes that lead up from the base.

If desired, one of the fans can be run by itself to minimize fan noise if you consider two fans to be too loud. Also, both fans can be removed to allow passive cooling of the CPU. There are really some very nice high-end features to be had with this cooler and at a decent mid-range price.
