HTC M8 Leaks, Photos and Rumors
The HTC One was probably the most popular phone of 2013, which means that the Taiwanese manufacturer should be working on its successor. According to leaked images obtained by Phandroid, these images show a similar casing to the original HTC One but with some slight differences.
There are two holes on the back of the device – one smaller hole above the top separator – and a bigger one that will likely house the camera sensor.
It is uncertain what device exactly this is, but we believe that this may be the HTC M8.
Also @evleaks who has been usually accurate with rumors, has posted on twitter and said, “Sounds like the HTC M8 is — and you could probably predict — a 5-inch, 1080p handset powered by KitKat and a Snapdragon 800.”
Since these specs would only be a bump-up from the HTC One, we think that it wouldn’t future-proof it from upcoming devices. There are already two devices with 5-inch 1080p displays and Snapdragon 800 chipsets.
Could these leaked pictures and specs be true?
Do you think HTC is making the right move by adding a Snapdragon 800 CPU?
What would you change for the HTC One’s successor?
Let us know.
