ATTO is one of the oldest hard drive benchmarks. It measures both read and write speeds and outputs the data in an easily readable graph. This test was run with default settings:

The Seagate drive beats out all the other drives in this benchmark with read and write speeds approaching 130 MB/s while testing in 16KB block onwards. It even beats out the previous favorite in consumer space, the WD 6400 AAKS.
