“Windows 7 may be shipping this fall” – Laptop Maker

Microsoft’s next Operating System Windows 7 is scheduled to ship this year according to the rumours flying around the net. But now according to Bloomberg news agency Ray Chen, president of Taipei-based Compal Electronics Inc.?the maker of laptop personal computers for Hewlett-Packard Co. and Acer Inc. said that “According to current planning, it should be late September or early October.”

Windows 7 has been received warmly by many of the beta testers. Everyone is holding their breath to jump on the Windows 7 bandwagon including us.
